Quantum Energy Partners is committed to philanthropic endeavors that make a difference in our community. While many of our partners and employees support various local and international charities, we as a firm have also focused our philanthropic efforts on a few select areas of need: inner city children in Houston, extreme poverty in Houston and international aid. We give our employees opportunities to contribute not only financially, but also by volunteering their time and talents. To encourage such contributions, Quantum implemented a matching program for employees in which the firm matches monetary donations and provides paid time off for volunteering.

Quantum currently dedicates financial and volunteer support to the following local and international organizations:

Yellowstone Academy

Yellowstone Academy is a non‐profit organization formed for the purpose of establishing a high quality faith‐based private school for students living in poverty. The academy provides academic and support programs to meet the unique requirements of its Pre-K through seventh grade students in the heart of the Third Ward. Quantum is Yellowstone Academy’s first corporate partner, and our employees participate in a weekly mentoring program at the school.

The Forge for Families

The Forge for Families primarily serves the men, women, and children of Houston’s under‐ resourced Third Ward community. The vast majority of the families the Forge serves live in impoverished conditions, in neighborhoods where drug dealing and crime are visible daily, but resources and facilities for wholesome activities are sparse. Its mission is to enrich the spiritual, educational, vocational, and leadership development of inner city families through mentoring and bringing transforming growth to Houston’s Third Ward community. The Forge offers hope and a future by emphasizing a foundation of personal responsibility, educational excellence, and integrity in its programs for both children and adults.

Living Water International

Living Water implements participatory, community-based water solutions in developing countries. These communities are trapped in debilitating poverty because they constantly suffer from water-related diseases and parasites, and/or because they spend long stretches of their time carrying water over long distances. Since Living Water was established, they have completed more than 9,000 water projects for communities in 26 countries.
