When you visit this website you may voluntarily submit data using one of the forms available for a specified purpose (we call these “Subscription Pages” in this notice). On Subscription Pages, we may collect personal information about you including, for example, your name, address, email address, phone number, facsimile number, bar number, company name, company address, and/or title. We may collect this information if you sign up to receive periodic newsletters or bulletins on developments via email. We also may collect this information if you register to participate in a seminar, conference, or event that Quantum Energy Partners has organized.

When you interact with Quantum Energy Partners through a Teams video conference platform or similar platform for events or conference calls, we have access to the following additional information for troubleshooting purposes only:

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13 through this website. If we are made aware that we have collected personal information from a child under the age of 13 through this website, we will delete it as soon as practicable.
2. How Do We Protect Your Information?
As an institution, we take the security of our information systems very seriously and have implemented generally accepted technical standards and operational security measures to prevent unauthorized access to data and to protect the integrity of our systems. For instance, we may provide links to seminars, articles, and events offered or hosted by third parties. 5. Do We Transfer Personal Information Across Borders?
Quantum Energy Partners or its affiliates engage in business across the globe but our personnel and our primary data centers are located in the United States, and information you provide when visiting our website will be stored primarily in the United States. Because of the international nature of Quantum Energy Partners’ operations and activities, the information you provide via this website may be accessed by personnel in any of the jurisdictions in which they may be located, including those located in jurisdictions whose laws may not provide the same level of protection for personal information as that provided in your home country.
6. How Can You Change or Remove Your Information?
We want to be sure that the contact details and other information you provide to us are as up to date as possible, and we hope you will help us in that effort. 7. What are Your Rights in European Economic Area?
If you are located in the European Economic Area, the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 and the UK Data Protection Act 2018 (collectively, the “GDPR”) give you certain additional rights. If the personal information we collect from you indicates that you are in the EU, we will maintain and process your personal information in accordance with the GDPR. However, some of your information, including personal information collected through our website, likely will be transferred and will be maintained, at least for some period of time, in our data centers in the United States, whose privacy and data protection laws are, generally speaking, not as robust as the laws in the European Union. We make those transfers under intrafirm agreements that contain clauses consistent with those mandated by the GDPR. While that data are located in the United States, Quantum Energy Partners will endeavor to provide a level of data protection level equal to that which it provides in the EU.

How to Exercise Your Rights

We will contact you to confirm receipt of your request under the CCPA and request any additional information necessary to verify your request. We verify requests by matching information provided in connection with your request to information contained in our records. Depending on the sensitivity of the request and the varying levels of risk in responding to such requests (for example, the risk of responding to fraudulent or malicious requests), we may request that you use your access credentials in order to verify your request. You may also designate an authorized agent to make a request under the CCPA on your behalf, provided that you provide a signed agreement verifying such authorized agent’s authority to make requests on your behalf, and we may verify such authorized person’s identity using the procedures above.
The verifiable consumer request must:
- Provide sufficient information that allows us to reasonably verify you are the person about whom we collected personal information or an authorized representative.
